Another great retreat!
Well, another Biblical Families retreat has come and gone, and this one set the bar even higher. Six days of fellowship, fun, food, worship, teaching, and prayer with 130 awesome people at a beautiful retreat center in the Smokies. Not much sleep, but plenty of everything else!
The worship ranged from light acoustic through CCM and old-school Vineyard music to old hymns to full-on rock and roll, and the fellowship engaged at every level. Everyone came to the retreat with hungry hearts and open minds, and I've never seen this intensity of fellowship in a group that is as diverse theologically and culturally as this one is. Maybe this is a foretaste of heaven and the whole "every tongue and tribe and nation" thing—it certainly felt that way!
